We gather weekly at 7:30 pm on Wenesdays using the Lake Como GMRS repeater for the Lake Como Radio Club GMRS Net. The purpose of the net is to encourage members of the community to keep their radios in good operating order, charged and ready for use (especially in the event of an emergency), to encourage participants to learn how to use their radios, and to develop good operating habits.

Our club has been granted the amateur radio callsign KO4MO, a tribute to the Lake Como community we serve.

We sponsor radio events like Field Day, work days for club projects, and community engagement events.

Our club exists to support the members and residents of the Lake Como Co-op, a residential naturist community, campground, and resort located in Lutz, Florida. Lake Como is a vibrant place where you can enjoy a clothes-free life amongst friendly people in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Equip, educate, and prepare the Lake Como community for times of disaster.

Build the capability to intercommunicate with local emergency officials during times of emergency, even without operational infrastructure (power, internet, or cell phones).
Build the capability to send and receive health and welfare messages between members of the Lake Como community and their friends anywhere in the world, even without operational infrastructure (power, internet, or cell phones).
Provide technical learning opportunities and engaging activities for community and club members.
Naturism is a way of life in harmony with nature characterised by the practice of communal nudity with the intention of encouraging self-respect, respect for others, and for the environment.
